Last Friday, we were excited to bring back the URT SPOOK to our hometown of Coronado after missing last years event.  Community is the essence of what we stand for, and we couldn't think of any better way to celebrate the Halloween spirit than with this spooky Halloween surfing event.

The URT Spook started with founder Ian Urtnowski and his buddies surfing in costume but transformed into an event that brings together ocean enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.  Our focus is to bring something that’s fun and nostalgic to our community.

Not only did we get to see some awesome surfing in some ideal fall conditions, but we witnessed some incredible costumes in the lineup.  We were excited to award our our favorites some great prizes from our sponsors this year including Sweat Circuit and the Hotel Del Coronado.

We also were blown away by the incredible photography of some of our local artists including Derek Emge, Samantha McNall, and Adriel Cordova (all featured below).
