HURRICANE HARVEY LOCAL RELIEF BENEFIT // NAVY HEATHER
***WE STILL HAVE A FEW LEFT!! PROCEEDS GATHERED WILL GO TO NEXT HURRICANE RELIEF SO WE CAN HAVE THE MOST IMPACT.
TherHurricane Harvey (Cat 4) ripped into Texas at 10PM on August 25th. With over 50 inches of rainfall in a matter of days the flooding has reach catastrophic levels. Over tens of thousands have been rescued from their houses by civilians, law enforcement, the fire department, and the Coast Guard. It is the civilian rescue that inspired us to do whatever we can, how small it is, to help out our neighbors. The streets are flooded with Good Samaritans going house to house with whatever flotation equipment they have looking for those in dire need of help.
I quickly mocked up this design inspired by one man going house to house in his jet ski and transporting the stranded to dry land safety. It is an inspiration to see everyone come together in a time of need and reach out with a helping hand.
(WE RAISED $2800 FOR THE HOUSTON FOOD BANK, THANKS TO ALL OUR INCREDIBLE SUPPORTERS, WE REALLY ARE DOING SOME GOOD).
